I am currently in my last semester of graduate school at Rutgers University getting my MA in United Nations and Global Policy Studies. I came across Bitcoin in 2017 as the price began to skyrocket and I began grad school. My program focuses on policy development as it relates to certain regions and when I started to dive into bitcoin, blockchain and open source technology I immediately understood what the implications could be for the developing world.
