I am not your standard developer applicant. I received a PhD in social and political sciences from the European University Institute and was a lecturer in Sociology at the University of Cambridge. More than two years ago, I decided to transition to developing smart contracts to be part of the frontier of social transformations.
To any future employer I bring,
- a world-class ability to quickly identify core tensions in complex social and political issues;
- more than two years experience in developing EVM based smart contracts that provide concrete solutions to the needs and problems ‘web3’ users;
- years of experience in communicating complex problems in simple language both through publishing article and teaching.
More extensively,
- I have advanced solidity coding skills: I worked mostly in foundry, but also in hardhat. See my projects at my 7Cedars github profile. I ranked first in Cyfrin CodeHawks’s ‘Mondrian Wallet v2’ contest. I have designed and developed dApp frontends, using typescript, with react, next.js, redux and graphql. From my academic work I have experience with R and Python.
- A world class ability to assess social and political problems. To identify core problems and tensions in very complex social and political issues. I have extensive experience with data rich projects and tackling complex problems; tackling questions that lack right or wrong answers.
- Great communication skills. Spoken, written. Analytical, normal public. I have years of experience in analysis, research, teaching, writing and publishing in English.
- I am interested in and committed to blockchain communities and on-chain governance. I designed and developed several solidity protocols that solve concrete issues around dApp utilities and DAO governance.
