Since 2017 I have been active in the crypto space. I started out with investments into the main blockchains, and this lead to active participation into all kinds of blockchain applications. Examples are running BTC and ETH (PoS) nodes, providing liquidity on different DeFi platforms, participation in several DAOs and deep involvement into web3 ecosystem Splinterlands (running on Hive blockchain). Although it can be a struggle sometimes to weed through all the crap, I still find the sector very interesting and have a strong believe that the influence of blockchain technology will become greater in the future. Since 2022, I am running a business in said web3 ecosystem where I provide advice and practical assistance to participants that are uncertain how to deploy their stake effectively. Specifically this means helping them perform a range of (custom) transactions on the Hive blockchain, and sharing my insights about the effects of ongoing developments in the ecosystem.
So far my blockchain experience. There is another part of my career that I would like to mention, namely my law enforcement experience. Also starting in 2017, I have enrolled in the Police Academy of the Netherlands, where I followed the Recherchekundige education (It translates into Detective Specialist). This 4 year education program is meant to build detectives that work from a scientific method and has provided me with top level training in all aspects of the investigative process. I have in practice held the responsibility of dozens of investigations into serious offenses and my work has always passed the scrutiny of the court.
My goal is to combine these skills and experiences and become an expert at the crossing point as a blockchain investigator or a role similar to that.
