I worked at India's largest convenience platform (Food, grocery, meat, and alcohol delivery) called Swiggy. Having been part of a team that helped build and scale a one-neighborhood food delivery start-up to a multibillion-dollar company in India, I bring a wide range of experiences to the table. I donned multiple hats across Strategy, Biz Ops, M&A, and New Initiatives at Swiggy (www.Swiggy.com). I was involved in scaling various 0 to 1 new initiatives at Swiggy, including business expansion into new markets and opportunities in adjacent verticals. Leading a 45-member cross-functional team, including product and tech, I launched our business into new markets and built the playbook that helped Swiggy expand into 500 cities. I also conceptualized and led Swiggy's foray into the offline dining category. I created the investment thesis, conceptualized the product, designed the strategy, and assembled a team to build the product. I also led the multimillion-dollar acquisition of DineOut, India's largest restaurant discovery and deals platform, to turbo-charge our dining-out foray.

I started my journey with crypto in 2016 when I bought $1000 of bitcoin. During a sabbatical in 2020, I restarted my tryst with cryptocurrencies as a trader. I traded actively for two years until the Indian government introduced restrictive taxation laws. Trading allowed me to research and learn about different segments of crypto/Web3 and how builders worldwide were implementing blockchain technology. Blockchain technology lies at the intersection of the values that power open-source technology and privacy-first software, topics that I am deeply passionate about.
