After nearly 3 years at Nexxyo Labs, where I've contributed in every way I could and touched almost every department, from when we were just 15 people, through our peak growth, and then restructuring, I've learned a lot and am incredibly proud of my work and effort. However, I've also realized that something was still missing.
My journey into crypto as a profession began with trying to explain and promote the importance of blockchain and its uses. I've always tried to maintain this focus throughout my career.
Over time, the use case I've centered on to explain anything about blockchain has been gaming. Not just because I was at a company focused on it, but because I genuinely believe that gaming is and will continue to be the primary way most people will first encounter these technologies.
But, was I truly contributing to mass adoption? This is a question I've asked myself recently, and I realized that only from the perspective of a company providing infrastructure to other game developers and studios will I be able to help, support, and witness the creation of a game finally capable of breaking the barrier. A game that ensures Web3 Gaming is no longer called Web3 Gaming but just Gaming.
