I have always believed in leading with my heart with the balance of rigorous business ethics and a belief in establishing and following a methodology. My father instilled creativity, and the Navy, fwd. deployed in Afghanistan, taught me the value of balancing mind and heart with action and precision. I continued to hone in my approach to life/work throughout my career and have delivered because I believe in the power to inspire. My hands-on experiences and humility have earned the trust of others because that is the foundation of a long-term relationship beyond the partnership.

I've reached my goal of becoming a CTO at 40 because of my approach to community and leadership, where there's always an opportunity for mutual mentorship. I've empowered those around me to challenge the status quo at all levels with the goal of balancing enabling technology and humanity. My work was recognized when Amazon presented me with the recognition as a Bar Raiser and Role Model and recognized by my peers as a Global Technology Humanitarian.

I aim to continue to leverage technology to fundamentally change the world around us. As my father told me, "We have one goal in life: to create". I aim to create by inspiring others, and that is what sets me apart: a firm belief in the power of intrinsic motivation and the power when others believe.
