During my postgraduate studies, I focused extensively on blockchain-based technologies, particularly in the context of financial infrastructure and cybersecurity. My thesis explored the security architecture of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), addressing their cryptographic foundations, consensus mechanisms, and the implications for systemic risk and digital trust. This work deepened my understanding of blockchain technology not only as a financial innovation, but also as a security-critical infrastructure that demands robust, scalable, and privacy-preserving safeguards.

In parallel, I authored a case study on information security governance in challenger banks, examining how digital-first institutions implement risk and compliance frameworks while adopting cloud-native and blockchain-integrated services. This research reinforced my interest in the intersection of innovative financial systems and cybersecurity governance.

I am highly motivated to enter the crypto industry because I believe it sits at the frontier of both technological disruption and regulatory evolution. I’m particularly drawn to the challenge of applying established information security principles in an environment that demands continuous innovation, agility, and resilience. Joining the industry would allow me to contribute both strategic GRC expertise and a strong technical understanding of cryptographic systems — and to grow in a space where security is not just a requirement, but a foundation.
