Born and raised in Lisbon, emigrated to Belgium at the age of 14, and subsequently to the Netherlands, before recently returning to my home country. Graduated with a Bachelor's in "Digital Society" at the University of Maastricht in 2022. It is an interdisciplinary course in the areas of media and culture, history, political science, economics and data science. My thesis was "On the Efficacy of China’s Social Credit System as a Digital Instrument for Policing and Governance". Before that I attended the European School of Brussels where I had a multilingual and multicultural study experience. Currently, I just finished a 3-month professional internship at CNN Portugal, where I was offered to stay but ultimately decided to explore other options. I worked as an intern journalist curating news for programs in the information desk (writing text for the presenters, preparing headlines and quotes, and editing clips for display). Software tools used at CNN: “iNEWS” (News Content Creation & Distribution) and “Rio 4k” (Video & Audio Editing). I have been in the crypto space since my early days at university (2019/20) as a trader, investor and curious learner. PS: I am fluent in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.
