A little over eight months ago, I made a bold move—I quit my job as an accountant to go full-time into day trading. Spoiler alert: it didn’t go as planned. Turns out, making emotionally driven trades because you don’t have enough savings isn’t a sustainable strategy (who knew?). But that experience taught me a lot—about risk management, discipline, and most importantly, the value of solid data-driven decision-making.
Before that, I had already started exploring crypto. My understanding was… let’s say, a work in progress. I dabbled in NFTs, made some investments, and even worked with Dr. Green NFT. But without the financial cushion to hold through the rough patches, I had to sell off most of my assets. That was the moment I realized I needed a more stable income—something that aligned with my interests in finance, trading, and crypto but didn’t leave me staring at red candles in despair.
So, I pivoted. Instead of returning to accounting, I doubled down on data analysis. My past experience had already given me a strong foundation in financial analysis and operations, so it felt like a natural fit. I dove into learning—earning certifications, building projects, and applying my skills to real-world datasets. Now, I focus on the intersection of finance, technology, and blockchain, using data to drive better decisions in trading, investing, and decentralized finance.
What makes me great? I adapt. I learn fast. And I’m relentless in solving problems. Whether it’s optimizing trading strategies, analyzing blockchain data, or just figuring out the best way to navigate a new country (shoutout to Sweden), I approach every challenge with curiosity and a willingness to grow.
