I'm a leadership development specialist with experience working with people managers in fields ranging from logistics to digital marketing to gaming to healthcare. I received my PhD in English from Tufts in 2015 and work with people managers and executives, helping them develop strategic communication skills. Many organizations in the DeFi space start off as small startups, but they soon experience growing pains as they start to expand. As organizations scale, their leaders suddenly face new demands. They must communicate to a globally dispersed team, building alignment and trust in the project. They have to hold direct reports accountable and set clear expectations.
That's where I come in. I help leaders understand how to present information for maximum impact: how to listen and build connection/partnership with direct reports and colleagues. I help leaders craft and shape their organization's long-term mission, and then help them articulate it in a compelling form that boots morale.
Most leaders think they can communicate well, but the market data suggests otherwise. What makes me unique is I can walk the walk (so to speak). My work combines aspects of communications, learning and development, and strategic advisor. Growing organizations often neglect this aspect of managerial development, but those who hone in on it quickly gain an edge.
