Our mission at the XDC Network is to supercharge the growth of Layer 2 projects within the XDC Ecosystem while driving widespread adoption and practical application. With the help of these resources, we aim to empower startups and organizations dedicated to boosting network adoption among both retail and institutional participants. This involves kickstarting on-chain activities, elevating Total Value Locked (TVL), and nurturing technological innovation. You can participate as an individual or form a dynamic team. What We're Looking For In this hackathon, we're on the lookout for innovative projects that build open-source working dApps on the XDC Network. These projects should fall under one of the following categories: 1. DeFi: Focus on creating decentralized finance tools, infrastructure, and enterprise use cases to bolster network TVL and enhance the DeFi ecosystem. Potential projects include: - Developing a synthetic asset protocol for issuing, trading, and managing financial asset derivatives. - Crafting solutions for payments, lending protocols, yield farming, and staking. - Building a DEX aggregator, DeFi asset manager, smart contract manager, analytics tools, or insurance platforms. 2. AI: Innovate AI-powered solutions within the Web3 paradigm. This could involve predictive analytics, AI-managed portfolios, fraud detection, and more, all seamlessly integrated with the XDC Network or directly utilizing XDC. 3. Gaming dApps: Dive into the world of Play-to-Earn (P2E) gaming, including NFT integration with the possibility of trading digital property and in-game marketplace trading. Explore other gaming dApps harnessing the potential of the XDC Network. 4. Web3: Create various Web3 tools and infrastructure, such as DAOs, decentralized social platforms, and asset tokenization solutions. 5. Ported dApps: Develop dApps that either belong to the above categories or bring disruptive, new dApps from other chains that can enhance the utility of the XDC Network. 6. Telegram Integration with XDC Network: Explore possibilities like creating a BOT to track XRC-20 tokens in Telegram groups (e.g., @BobbyBuyBot) or a Wallet Transaction Tracking BOT (e.g., @tracktxbot). Important note: All dApps developed during the hackathon must be deployed on the XDC Network Mainnet.
