Meld is currently looking to hire an experienced Backend engineer with knowledge of microservices architecture and development.
You will work remotely alongside other engineers extending and improving the backend architecture, designing and developing new microservices, as well as being involved in maintaining and improving existing core services.
You will also be developing API integrations with 3rd parties, both inbound and outbound.
You will build and maintain GraphQL and RESTful APIs, which will be consumed by external API clients, internal services and frontend applications.
Desired Skills:
ā Demonstrable backend development expertise on Linux in nodejs or golang
ā Experience with Microservices architecture on GCP or AWS
ā Basic understanding of networks, security, and system resilience
ā Knowledge of messaging queues (e.g. pub/sub)
ā Building/consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs
ā A desire to learn and apply best practices in software development
ā Great communication skills and the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
Nice to have:
ā NoSQL database experience a plus
ā Basic understanding of Blockchains
