Blockchain Tech Instructor (Ethereum or other Blockchains)

#About the Gig

We’re looking for a part-time instructor with a Software Engineering background. The Ethereum blockchain has no secrets for you. You need to be a strong communicator and patient. As a Blockchain expert, you will need to explain many abstract and complex concepts from beginners to very experienced developers. Teaching is not just a course, but it’s also assisting students in their learning path while applying those concepts in real-life projects.

#Responsibilities 

• Overseeing the whole academic experience of:
  • Live online training sessions
  •  Technical course
  • Students assistance during assignments
• Preparing all course-related required materials
  • Presentation
  • Guidebook
  • References
  • Systems requirements and Packages
• Programming:
  • High quality, performant, and well-tested Solidity code
  • Comfortable with Node, React and understands how to build smart contracts which interact with the traditional web stack
  • Teach Test-Driven Development process
  • Design and ideation of new functionalities

#Preferred experience

• As an instructor:
  • Passion for education (Previous experience is a +)
  • Excellent communication skills (A sense of humor goes a long way)
  • Native English
• As a Software Engineer:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Built smart contracts in Solidity for the Ethereum blockchain
    • Professional project previously deployed to Mainnet
  • Familiarity with standard DevOps tooling
  • Perfect expertise of the following languages and frameworks:
    • Git
    • Javascript
    • Node.js
    • Solidity
    • Web3.js
    • Truffle / Ganache CLI
    • Infura
