Crypto Lawyer

The BCAS Group is looking for a lawyer experienced in financial services & digital assets to join its fast-growing team. The candidate should have at least three years’ worth of hands-on experience on regulatory matters, and should have a keen interest in following the latest developments across such industries. Preference will be given to those candidates who also have additional experience/knowledge in fintech and/or capital markets.

Some of the undertaken functions include the following:

– Regulatory advice to clients or interested third parties in light of MiFID II, local frameworks pertaining to digital assets, etc.– Liaison with international regulatory authorities
– Handling regulatory applications on behalf of the clients
– Working on legal opinions classifying tokens/crypto assets under various legal regimes
– General liaison with clients
– Research related to the sectors of financial services and capital markets.

Apart from covering regulatory matters related to the European legislative framework, the candidate will also have the opportunity to work on regulatory matters related to jurisdictions such as Singapore. The candidate should be ready to work in an extremely fast-paced environment. Self-motivation is key. Variety and novelty of work are one of the benefits for this particular role, as well as direct contact with some notable companies in their respective fields. Training with respect to innovative sectors such as digital assets can be provided.
