Digital Assets Trading and Research Analyst

The purpose of this role is to aggregate and process the immense amount of information in the digital asset sector. This role will start out effectively manual and eventually transition into a more streamlined process with assistance from our development team. From this research, we will develop strategies to deploy additional capital and generate revenue.

There are two types of data which need to be collected. You will be in charge of both. These types are:

1. Quantitative - this is, for example, historical price data across DEXs and AMMs. This data needs to be aggregated such that we can run algorithms on these datasets (back testing).

2. Qualitative-thisistypicallymoredescriptive,forexampleitmaybean analysis of different MEV sequencer strategies. Often times this will require not simply aggregating information, but performing your own analysis to elicit insights ahead of the market

We’re looking for

At least 1 year of experience as a research analyst in the digital asset space.

+ The important thing is that you have full context for the sector, for example, you should already be familiar with the following:

    - MEV

    - Layer 2 scalability solution patterns, i.e. roll-ups, ZKPs, side

chains, etc.

    - Blockchain interoperability protocols

    - Comprehensive knowledge of DEXs, AMMs, aggregators, lending

protocols, and staking protocols

    - Token economics of major projects and liquidity mining

strategies

+ Excellent knowledge of crypto influencers, distribution channels, and

crypto communities

 + Good understanding of basic financial principles, i.e. leverage, fixed

income, borrowing and lending, options, etc.

+ At least 1 year experience working with a software engineering team.

This experience should be demonstrated with an understanding of relevant technical concepts

    - General: cloud hosting, client-server architecture, e2e testing, OOP

    - Crypto: sha256, PoW/PoS, finality, block production, ETH mempool
