Experienced Backend DApp and Web3 Developer for DeFi

An exciting and fast growing Institutional DeFi project is looking for a talented Backend Developer to join the team and help build and maintain protocols to revolutionize the financial ecosystem. As a Backend Developer you will work with our team to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

You will be bringing your talent to engineer robust, enterprise-level, secure applications on distributed, decentralized platforms.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Contribute to the design and development of a state of the art decentralized investment platform
Take initiative in improving our existing product in order to address pain points in your own experience as a developer
Keep up to date with the latest developments in blockchain technology and grow internal knowledge base
Identify bugs, write tests, and propose improvements to maintain code quality standards
Working closely and collaboratively with colleagues and partners across different functional areas

Requirements:

5+ years professional development experience
Expert knowledge of backend JavaScript API/Web services development in Node.js / Express.js
Back-End design, development of applications using Node.js that can scale to millions of transactions
Must have Web3 and Ethereum blockchain experience
Strong knowledge of MongoDB or similar
Familiar with AWS
Fundamental level React.JS experience

Preferable:

Working knowledge of Docker
Experience maintaining open-source JS libraries
Experience with FeathersJS
Knowledge of market structures and exchange related concepts
Experience on a remote-focused team
