Frontend Engineer

Expectations

• Lead frontend development of our platform product
• Implement, test, and deploy web3 user interfaces that are intuitive to use
• Maintain a high bar for yourself and your team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members on all aspects of product development
• As an early engineer, contribute to a culture of mutual support, and constant improvement

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience
• Experience with React workflows such as Flux or Redux and testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library
• Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript, with a proven ability to write clean, effective, well-tested code and a knowledge of design patterns and system architecture
• Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms.

Bonus

• Knowledge of web3 concepts (eg. NFT, DeFi), and experience working with web3 tools (eg. IPFS, Truffle, Hardhat)
• Contributor to existing open source projects
• Able to write well, with experience producing publicly available written content such as technical documentation and blogs.
