Global Business Development Manager

As the Global Business Development Manager of Alpaca Finance, you will:
- Research and identify new business and partnership opportunities.
- Educate the market on Alpaca Finance’s products.
- Grow Alpaca’s presence to the broader market.
- Execute BD pipeline and coordinate with the Head of Business Development on business requirements.
- Develop relationships with stakeholders and projects in the ecosystem.
- Source leads and close deals for current and future partnership programs.
- Coordinate with centralized exchanges for listings.
- Work with key influencers and communities, doing AMAs, co-promotions, publications, etc.
- Contribute during the BD team’s discussion on roadmap, processes and strategy.
- 1+ year of experience in a Sales/BD role at a crypto project OR 3+ years of experience in in a Sales/BD or related role
- Strong personal knowledge of how BD works in the crypto space
- Strong sales skills
- Driven, persistent, self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Experienced with working in remote teams
- Good negotiation skills
- An existing network in crypto/DeFi is a big plus
You would be joining one of the fastest-growing companies in Decentralized Finance, a project that without investors, has reached as high as $2Bn USD in protocol funds within only a few months of launching. We have a 100% remote working arrangement, so applicants from all regions and time zones are welcomed and travel will not be required. Compensation for this role will all be in 100% liquid crypto. The salary will be base plus performance incentives, negotiable according to your experience/profile.
