Job Description:
As the Global Business Development Manager of Alpaca Finance, you will:
- Research and identify new business and partnership opportunities.
- Educate the market on Alpaca Financeās products.
- Grow Alpacaās presence to the broader market.
- Execute BD pipeline and coordinate with the Head of Business Development on business requirements.
- Develop relationships with stakeholders and projects in the ecosystem.
- Source leads and close deals for current and future partnership programs.
- Work with key influencers and communities, doing AMAs, co-promotions, publications, etc.
- Contribute during the BD teamās discussion on roadmap, processes and strategy.

Qualifications:
Must have knowledge of the crypto industry. Must be familiar with different protocols and projects and be able to explain how they work, not just surface knowledge.
- 1+ year of experience in a Sales/BD role at a crypto project (preferred)
- OR 5+ years of experience in in a Sales/BD or related role
- Strong personal knowledge of how BD works in the crypto space
- Strong sales skills
- Driven, persistent, self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English as a first language)
- Experienced with working in remote teams
- Good negotiation skills
- An existing network in crypto/DeFi is a big plus
