Job Description:

 

Lithium Finance, a DeFi protocol building next generation data oracle, seeks a Head of Blockchain to help build our protocol from the ground up, including our tokenomics, core algorithms, and data science features. This is an opportunity to contribute to a cutting edge research problem, execute blockchain and software development, and work with a world-class team, backed by truly world class blockchain investors: Pantera, Hashed, Huobi Ventures, OKEx, and Alameda Research, among others.

Key requirements for the Head of Blockchain:

 

• Be proficient in Solidity smart contract language
• At least 5 years experience developing for ethereum or evm-compatible chain
• Solid understanding of The Graph and subqueries
• Top-level understanding of statistics and data analytics
• Fluent written and spoken English 
• Fluency with startup company fundraising and investors relations
• Experience managing large technology teams; building and architecting products to scale
• Write clear and concise code with understanding of CI/CD
• Solid experience with Github and Git.
• Good written and spoken communication in a multilingual team
• A logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving
• Mobile app development experience (ios and/or android)

Nice-to-haves:

 

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science from a Top InstitutionFinancial Institution experience preferred
• Good understanding of Substrate framework is a plus
• Data Analytics experience

Responsibilities

As we know, not all responsibilities are required on a day-to-day basis. They are more a guideline to know what to expect to work on.

• Build and maintain a world-class knowledge of cutting edge data science tools such as the DMI mechanism
• Work in a small and fast-paced team to architect and build the protocol, managing a team of developers
• Improve and optimize current blockchain solution
• Serve as the technology lead, hiring developers and executing on maintenance and management tasks
• Collaborate with the global team to prioritize tasks and create milestones
• Serve as the spokesperson when appropriate for the company.

Must Have

Here is the list that we absolutely need:
