LEAD COMMUNITY MANAGER

Important: You will be an equity partner, and like the other founders, may receive no other salary until the startup has raised funds, but you will receive an interesting token allocation.

NEPRI is looking for a Community Manager or Specialist who has experience managing a community for a Crypto company.

The role will involve social engagements within the crypto community, as well as with investors, traders, communities, PR / marketing outlets, KOLs, institutional traders, financial services providers, regulators, and government.

NEPRI is looking to hire an experienced community manager to help engage the broader crypto community around NEPRI. The ideal candidate combines a savvy approach to community building with deep crypto contacts to engage the broader community.

Whether it's educating customers via Twitter or Telegram, creating memes, or providing customer support, there are lots of ways to engage our customers and you've got the wit and enthusiasm to do it. You should have a demonstrated history building and engaging a crypto audience on major social platforms. Ideal candidates connect successfully with the entire landscape of crypto investors: from individual traders to executives at leading exchanges, custodians and wallets.

NEPRI’s Community Manager role will establish NEPRI as a leading platform for all DeFi and institutional finance products.

About the role

• Proven experience in participating and/ or building crypto communities and a track record of successful crypto experience are required.
• NEPRI is looking for a Community Manager or Specialist who has experience with crypto community management, PR strategy.

As Community Manager at NEPRI, you will: 

• Relentlessly build trust in NEPRI, advocating for the NEPRI mission and vision.
• Create and lead NEPRI’s community strategy to create brand awareness around NEPRI and build trust within the crypto/blockchain community.
• Manage NEPRI’s online presence across multiple channels (social media, group chat and other forums).
• Source feedback and ideas from supporters and skeptics alike.
• Work with product and marketing leadership to instill “growth mindset” throughout the organization, and convert community engagement into company business opportunity.
• Host and attend events (virtually...and maybe eventually in-person again!) to represent the company, build awareness and grow the Ecosystem.
• Keep current on trends and happenings across the broader crypto ecosystem.
• Being a thought leader and providing engaging content in a variety of forms, such as text, image, and video, for social media accounts
• Hosting online events and meetups to build brand awareness and community engagement
• Discovering new business leads and products to deploy
• Staying informed on trends in the DeFi space

Job Description

Duties

• Provide engaging texts and content for social media accounts
• Respond to comments and customer questions
• Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
• Liaise with marketing and sales team to stay updated on new products and features
• Post across all social media channels and blockchain related communities and forums
• Perform community management
• Identify and engage with influencers and ambassadors
• Generate ideas for new campaigns

• Manage and maintain NEPRI’s community on all channels primarily telegram
• Maintaining relationships with media and PR outlets and managing communication/marketing and PR announcements;
• Manage and coordinate media events and interviews with key NEPRI representatives to increase positive exposure.
• Organize, manage and oversee community meetups and any other events, which the company may decide to organize from time to time, ensuring proper community outreach and media and PR coverage;
• Manage the online/offline NEPRI communities and channels;
• Moderate the forums, social platforms, and chat groups and interact with the community to increase positive engagement about the company;
• Ensure community acquisition and growth through reinforcing a positive image of the company;
• Explore new community-friendly platforms to facilitate the expansion of NEPRI’s user base and influence;
• Assist with the engagement of partners - KOLs, PR agencies, marketing agencies, youtube channel owners, crypto businesses, credit institutions, associations, educational, regulatory and governmental bodies, etc.
• Help with delivering local languages content - including translations and proofreading whenever needed;
• Provide feedback to Management of the company and suggest improvements to increase engagement and market share in the industry;
• Stay on top of the international crypto trends and news.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end Telegram, Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Medium and Discord community operation, content planning, and advertising
• Organize, coordinate, and manage minority languages group and ambassador
• Plan and manage marketing campaigns and community expansion
• Create and implement community campaigns that drive the community to enhance the conversion and activation rate as well as brand awareness
• Responsible for the overall community user experience, listen, gather, and submit user’s feedback and opinions
• Manage and maintain NEPRI’s profile and image;
• Maintaining relationship with media and PR outlets and managing communication / marketing and PR announcements;
• Manage and coordinate media events and interviews with key NEPRI representatives to increase positive exposure.

Requirements

• Passion, drive and a desire to learn new things
• Experience as a social media manager and experience in blockchain and crypto markets
• Good communication skills
• Excellent marketing and community strategy skills with proven expertise
• Knowledge of how cryptocurrencies work and experience in this area is mandatory
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field

• Creativity, organizational, and communication skills are desired
• Minimum of 1-3 years of professional PR or media experience in the related field is required for this position;
• Multilingual ability with Native level proficiency in English language and business level proficiency in English; conversational or fluent in English
• Previous experience with media and PR relationship management;
• Proven community management experience, preferably in crypto;
• Familiarity with online platforms such as Telegram, Twitter, Facebook, Medium, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
• Strong crypto knowledge
• Familiarity with blockchain, financial services and data protection
• Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
• Hands-on experience with brand management through social media
• Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics, and to utilize those metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)
