Cortex is the ultimate tool for creating, sharing, and collaborating on web3. The Cortex application will be a foundational piece of the first complete Web3 stack, with decentralized data, wiki wallet combined with decentralized domains and cloud infrastructure. Cortex will be the consumer and business-facing gateway of this web3 stack, where crypto is built into all aspects of the web, part of an open metaverse where everyone can create a permanent digital home.

 

Our goal at Cortex is to allow anyone to build and achieve the benefits of web3: letting users control their entire digital and online presence, from value to data, to web location and even infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on our customers - who they are, what gets them excited, and how to make it easy for them to act.
  • Understand messaging in crypto and Cortex’s context within it. Follow fast-changing dynamics without getting lost in the noise.
  • Understand the competitive landscape—know the competition and how they are positioned, and how we are best positioned against them.
  • Define positioning and messaging, create compelling content, build and lead the community development team, build marketing programs, and launch strategies to increase awareness and adoption of our products across traditional media, social and events.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans, coordinating with top agencies and product teams to deliver a holistic approach that drives our success.
  • Be the advocate for the brand in product design and delivery discussions.
  • Continuously test and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make improvements
  • Diligently manage projects, track against delivery timelines, and manage budgets and team.
  • Collaborate with product teams and Community Manager to create original content with coordinated output.
  • Explore and analyze advertising opportunities.
  • Work with PR agency on record to coordinate media outreach efforts

 

Qualifications:

 

Basic:

  • 4 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Master’s, MBA). Your work experience is focused in the area of software or crypto product marketing.
  • Several successful software product launches. Bonus is products involved crypto. 

 

Bonus Points:

  • 6-8 or more years of work experience and a Bachelor’s Degree or 4-6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (MBA/ Master's)
  • Successful multi-channel social campaigns and PR initiatives
  • Previous crypto, blockchain, fintech, or defi work experience
  • Launching ad campaigns, influencer content, activations
  • Experience working with various self-serve ad platforms
  • Coordinating and executing global multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Vetting and negotiating ad campaigns with publishers, ad networks, etc.
  • Experience vetting and coordinating high-impact influencer campaigns
  • Experience coordinating and managing experiential events and activations
  • A strong pulse on the crypto/blockchain industry and understanding of target audiences
  • Can demonstrate strong ad copy and website copyediting skills and experience
  • Familiarity with digital marketing key performance indicators and attribution
  • Generating tracking links, navigating Google Analytics, campaign reporting metrics
  • Thrives in a remote environment.
