Full-time remote position
As a mathematician at Advanced Blockchain, you will be working on creating mathematical proofs, running mathematical simulations, and developing novel use-cases in decentralized finance. For example, you would help develop the math underpinning Curve finance, Balancer finance, and Uniswap. You would work on the financial engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Help develop proofs for various DeFi products
- Help develop novel versions of DeFi products (new automated market makers, e.g.)
- Help develop mathematical examples for how various protocols work
- Work with our engineering teams to answer their mathematical questions/needs
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Mathematics
- Independent problem solver
- Ideally a skilled programmer as well (language not important)
- Experience working in industry is ideal
- Ideally with a background in financial products but not a requirement
