Media Relations SpecialistÂ

About the Role
High Vibe PR is seeking a seasoned Media Relations Specialist for a short-term contract covering maternity leave (October–December 2025), with the potential for extension. This role is fully remote, though we prefer candidates based in the Eastern Time Zone to align with our clients and team.
We are looking for someone with real, proven relationships in financial, broadcast, and/or crypto media.Â
What You’ll Do
- Drive proactive media relations, securing high-impact placements in financial broadcast, business, and crypto media outlets.
- Leverage existing journalist relationships to land stories across TV, print, digital, and podcasts.
- Craft and pitch compelling storylines that elevate our clients’ profiles.
- Provide strategic and tactical PR contributions including drafting press releases, writing pitches, as well as managing media relationships
- Provide strategic counsel on positioning, timing, and narrative development.
- Maintain and share detailed records of secured coverage and placements.
- Collaborate with the broader team to ensure messaging consistencyÂ
Must-Haves
- 5–10 years of PR/media placement experience, ideally agency-side with gaming, crypto, or financial services clients.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver top-tier media coverage. You must include links to placements from the last six months in your application.
- Strong existing relationships with financial, Business broadcast, and crypto reporters/editors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range
$80,000–$150,000 (annualized, dependent on experience).
