Responsibilities:
- Work on large scale unstructured data with data science techniques to extract insights to model financial market and advise team on identifying strategic trades in the financial markets.
- Apply feature engineering on financial market data, social media data, blockchain data and market trends.
- Identify market trend / pattern based on own analysis and present the insights to stakeholders
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. math, statistics, optimization, computer science, engineering, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in machine learning field
- Proficient in Python/C++, and working with databases like SQL, Elasticsearch
- Strong grasp of key machine learning algorithms and principles, pattern recognition, expertise in supervised/unsupervised learning and reinforcement learning
- Experience in timeseries forecasting, anomaly detection, user categorization will be advantageous
- Rich experience in feature engineering, dealing with large scale, noisy and unstructured data
- Experience with time series data is compulsory
- Experience in trading forex, cryptocurrency or other financial product will be a plus
- Good communication skills, ability to articulate technical concepts and drive discussions with teams
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
