Sales Associate / Business Developer / Sales Development Representative

The Role
In this B2B sales role, you will work closely with the CEO to grow our startup from a handful of clients to millions in revenues. Your network in finance and capital markets will widen as you pitch our product to prospective clients. Your objective is to sell our data product to prospective buyers including banks, asset managers, regulated exchanges, ETF issuers, custodians, market makers and funds.
You will both assist the CEO and manage your own accounts. Among other varied tasks you will:

Find prospective clients by searching for relevant companies and their key decision-makers.Â

Arrange, attend and follow-up meetings with potential buyers.

Experience and personal traitsÂ
We think you have (or study for) a degree in finance, business administration, economics or similar. You might have previous experience in management consulting, investment banking, ETF sales, complex B2B sales at firm selling data.Â
To succeed in this role, before joining the team you:

Can write emails that make people do what you want.

Have an excellent command of the English language.

Are self-organized
You will make heavy use of tools to meet your KPIs.

Tools: LinkedIn, Hubspot, Gmail, slides and spreadsheets. You can learn these tools on the job.Â

KPIs: number of meetings held, number of messages sent and conversion rate, number of clients signing up and using our API.

The internship
The length of the internship is 6 months. The position a low base salary with substantial commission. Hours are flexible. Remote work is fine, in part or in full.Â
Previously successful interns have been offered and accepted full-time positions. A successful intern can transition into a full-time or part-time role with a competitive salary (base plus commission) as a Sales Associate, Account Manager, Account Executive, Key Account Manager, Business Development Representative or Strategic Business Developer.
