Senior Ethereum Developer/Architect

For this position, we’re really looking for a domain expert for Ethereum related software with some project management experience. Responsibilities would include code review, architectural improvements for smart contracts, and writing custom software where Truffle or Geth might not do the job. It definitely helps to have sufficient professional backend experience with Javascript or Go/Elixir. One problem we recently solved was using Web3 with typescript (can see the error here: https://github.com/ethereum/web3.js/issues/1248 ) which required forking Web3 and digging into the library to rewrite some of the source code) – this is a good example of the types of challenges we’d look to you for assistance.

Required Experience: - BSc or BEng in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field - +1.5 years Solidity or Vyper professional smart contract development experience - Familiarity with Geth and Parity nodes – both in integration and functionality - In depth experience with Truffle, Web3, MetaMask/Mascara, OpenZepplin, ERC standards, deploying to private and test networks (we mainly use Ropsten) - ~ 1 year professional smart contract security audit experience - Familiarity with other blockchains like Zilliqa, Aeternity, Lisk, EOS, etc. - Experience integrating on-chain exchanges with smart contract (we use KyberNetwork) - Accepted PRs to major open-source code for Ethereum use cases - Understanding of computer science fundamentals o Data-structures and Algorithms o OOP, SOLID o Standard architecture types (Event-driven, service-oriented, actor model, etc) o Relational Database design – BCNF, 3NF, 2NF o UML and sequence diagrams - Expertise in AWS - +6 years of experience as a professional developer in other languages/frameworks - Technical project management experience - We use Github, Slack, Skype, and Trello

Recommended Experience: - Up-to-date, reading research papers on Plasma, Casper, and consensus algorithms • Familiarity with basic attack vectors like DDoS, fisherman’s dilemma, block withholding, etc. • Developer experience at major blockchain focused organization such as Zeppelin, Parity, or ConsenSys • Production experience with Elixir, Go, and/or Rust is a plus • +10 years experience as a professional developer in other languages/frameworks • Experience with Hyperledger
