Senior People Technology (HRIS) Analyst

As a Senior People Technology Analyst, you'll be a key player in a vibrant and dynamic team committed to advancing our people and organization-wide strategy through the support and enhancement of our technology, primarily Workday. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our people's operations by streamlining processes, implementing innovative solutions, and delivering critical insights. Your contributions will help us create an empowered, data-driven workplace, making a tangible impact on our business and overall colleague experience.

In this role, you’ll:

• Contribute towards the People Team’s strategic roadmap aligned with the objectives of the People Team and the organization overall

• Understand how Workday is used across Chainalysis and work with the People Technology Manager to evaluate ways to improve the employee experience through self-service and enablement, identifying necessary changes

• Ensure other technologies we leverage, such as Ashby, Lessonly, ADP, Activpayroll, Slack, Google Workspace, and Okta, work harmoniously across our technology investments

• Engage with stakeholders across Corporate Functions (People, Talent, Finance, BizTech, etc.) and the broader business

• Develop cross-functional partnerships and understanding across corporate functions to identify downstream impacts and facilitate information/knowledge sharing

• Build, test, and deploy new functionality and enhancements to existing functionality to deliver against the overall People team roadmap

• Manage projects and capacity through bi-weekly sprints in Jira, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of initiatives

• Assist in regression testing and evaluation of new enhancements as part of Workday biannual releases

We’re looking for candidates who have: 

• 4-5 years of experience with Workday HCM Suite, across multiple modules.

• Strong understanding of Workday configuration, testing, security, notifications, and transactions

• Excellent project management, time management, and stakeholder management skills

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical terminology into layman’s terms

• Ability to manage workload independently and communicate updates, issues, and blockers appropriately

• Experience in developing materials and resources to support Workday processes, including demonstrations and quick reference guides

• Proven ability to assess situations quickly and communicate effectively with stakeholders

• High level of responsibility in handling confidential information, maintaining data privacy at all times

Nice to have experience:

• Experience with configuration and/or administration of Ashby, Lessonly, and other HR-related technologies

• Familiarity with Workday integrations and Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) in Studio

• Knowledge of Workday Adaptive, including its use for financials and integration with Workday HCM for strategic workforce planning

• Experience with customer support across various People technology needs and user groups
