Senior Security Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our promising new DeFi startup with the potential to disrupt a multi-billion dollar burgeoning new industry. Responsibilities:

• You will assist in the design and implementation of contract security specifications
• Conduct internal code security audits and external package audits
• Conduct security research and assess new blockchain security vulnerability events
• Work closely with code auditors to answer code security questions during the code auditing process
• Build testing processes, secure deployment environments, containerised processes
• Troubleshoot and solve any system security issues that may arise
• Prepare for backup plans during system overloads due to high volume traffic or attacks

 

Education and Experience:

• Degree in any scientific discipline
• Excellent knowledge in cryptography and blockchain or information security
• Excellent knowledge and experience in threat modelling, risk analysis and control analysis
• Knowledge in multi-party contract deployment
• Excellent knowledge in any combination of C++, Golang, Rust, Javascript, Solidity

 

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Background in information security or blockchain security
• Familiar with code audit, defense design, penetration testing
• Clear thinking, strong analytical problem-solving skill
• Familiar with common blockchain vulnerabilities and detection
• Familiar with the BAD testing framework
• Desire to be part of a fast-growing start-up and a highly collaborative team environment
• Self-starter who is comfortable working in fast-paced and dynamic conditions

 

Compensation:

• Combination of salary (market rate) + bonus (10-50%)
