What is FarmAssist looking for in a Smart Contract Developer

FarmAssist is looking to hire a smart contract developer to help further build out the product to meet our roadmap goals. This position will create a variety of smart contracts, from simple batch transfer tools, to yield farming strategies. Applicants should have strong Solidity and JavaScript skills, as well as an understanding of basic programming principles and software design. Due to the team being located across multiple time zones, an ideal applicant can work together with the team and independently in order to be as productive as possible during limited meeting times. A strong preference will be given to those with experience designing yield strategies or have contributed in building crypto protocols.

This gives the candidate a chance to grow and expand their skills whilst implementing new smart contract features. With our dashboard for DeFi, FarmAssist aims to become one of the biggest players in the space. As the smart contract developer will be a core component to help shape this process. As a FarmAssist team member you’ll receive a monthly share of our tokens.

On top of everything the candidate will be offered a competitive salary which ranges between $110 to $150 per hour depending on their skillset.

Desired Skills

• 1 year of Solidity experience
• Understanding of blockchain dev tools such as Ganache, Truffle, or Hardhat
• 3 years of production-level software development experience
• A working knowledge of yield farming in the crypto space

Nice to Have Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript
• Knowledge of lending/borrowing protocols in the crypto space
