SMM Manager (Leadership role) Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and creative SMM Manager (Leadership Role)  to lead our social media efforts across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok. This role combines data-driven decision-making with hands-on content creation, trend analysis, and team management. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, thrives on innovation, and is ready to take our brand's presence to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Trend Analysis & Strategy Development
  • Conduct regular trend-watching of competitors' social media accounts and the broader industry landscape using AI tools and other analytics platforms.
  • Analyze social media trends and audience behaviors to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
  • Build a data-driven content plan based on insights from trend analysis and regularly update it.
  1. Content Creation & Experimentation
  • Develop and test hypotheses for new types of content to drive engagement and growth.
  • Write and align scripts for videos and campaigns, ensuring they reflect brand messaging and resonate with the target audience.
  • Manage the entire production process, including planning, filming, voicing, and editing.
  • Oversee external contractors, including video editors, voiceover artists, and designers, ensuring high-quality output.
  1. Team & Project Management
  • Lead and coordinate a team of outsourced creatives (editors, designers, etc.) to ensure timely and impactful delivery of content.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to align on strategic direction and key deliverables.
  • Organize and supervise content shoots, ensuring all assets meet brand standards.
  1. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns and overall KPI achievement.
  • Provide actionable insights based on performance data to improve future campaigns and strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management, ideally in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing, audience engagement, and analytics.
  • Expertise in using AI tools and data-driven methods for social media trend analysis.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in scriptwriting, managing video production, and working with creative teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with an ability to align the team with company goals.
  • Proficiency in tools for analytics, social media scheduling, and content creation.
