You have a working understanding of cryptocurrency technology and the broader industry. Writing

and editing clear, compelling, comprehensive, and technically sound crypto educational articles that cater to a wide audience is your specialty. You are a diligent and thorough researcher; you write clearly, concisely, logically, and fluidly; and, you have a knack for making complex topics easy to understand. You are creative and enjoy curating interesting content that will catch the attention of new potential community members and investors. You are a strong team leader who is organized and has great communication skills.

 

About the Role

The main objective is to create content and curate topics that will be used for blogs, social media posts, video scripts, infographics, animated explainer videos, press releases, and more. Along with delivering publishable content yourself, you will also be responsible for keeping your team of talented writers on task

by creating and designating specific topics and tasks for each of them. You will proofread all drafts and manage multiple rounds of edits to create an array of impressive high-quality content for the company to post regularly throughout multiple brand channels.

 

Responsibilities

• Creatively curate compelling content topics with the help of other members of the marketing team.
• Delegate tasks to your team of writers and hold them accountable for deadlines.
• Write, edit, proofread, structure, and fact-check educational articles from your team.
• Revise content based on feedback from subject matter experts from the company.
• Appropriately structure and weave in keywords and phrases to improve SEO performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve content for style, substance, and clarity.
• Be consistently available during the workday to communicate with editors and peers via video conference and messaging platforms while also attending team meetings as scheduled.
• Proofread materials for colleagues and provide quality control.
• Update project management tools and manipulate content management systems.
• Manage deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (with a focus in Communications, English, Journalism, Engineering) or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience as a writer or editor. Crypto knowledge or experience preferred.
• Proven excellence in writing and editing
• Relentless attention to detail
• Proven ability to work with, and build trusted relationships, with internal teams successfully
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables simultaneously
• Preference for those with experience working with distributed teams
• Ability to deliver excellent, high-quality work under time constraints and deadlines
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills with experience executing programs on deadline, accurately, efficiently, and with an attention to detail
• Comfortable with content management systems
