Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical implementation for an execution platform supporting digital assets
- Deliver high quality code with established software engineering practices
- Review peers' code in a constructive and objective manner
- Develop proof of concepts for business and architectural features
- Materialize business strategies with your technical expertise
- Suggest efficiency, scalability, reliability, and security improvements where you see places to improve the technical implementation of the platform
Requirements:
- Knowledgeable about the trading life cycle (matching, affirmation, etc)
- Solid fundamentals of data structures and algorithms
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and application messaging systems
- Strong knowledge of JVM and JavaScript-based languages
- Familiarity with cloud computing solutions
- Production experience with messaging middlewares (Tibco, UMS, ZeroMQ, AMQP, Kafka) and good understanding of network protocols
- Experience with FIX protocols - order management and market data
- Specific expertise with exchange and trading systems, especially those used by
- banks and major financial institutions
- Background in development of blockchain applications
- Experience with Python and Bash
