For starters, I have been working with cryptocurrency and blockchain technology for nearly three years. In 2017, I was working at the financial publishing firm Angel Publishing as a cryptocurrency and blockchain reporter. In that role, I broke blockchain technology down to the basics, making it simple and understandable for everyday investors and technology enthusiasts. I launched the company's cryptocurrency website The Token Authority and conducted podcast interviews with major players in the blockchain space, including Chris Kline from BitcoinIRA and Scott Kessler from LO3 Energy.
Beyond being well-versed in blockchain technology, I am also excellent at content creation. I've been writing and reporting for over four years, and have participated in multiple company launches and designed multiple email gauntlets. I worked with venture capital starter marketing company CrowdfundX to help design content for High Times' IPO. I am highly motivated and work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. I know that Block.one is a young company and that gives me the opportunity to fill multiple roles and cover a wide range of topics. This is an environment I thrive in.
Today, I am working as a technical writer in Hangzhou, China. I moved to China for a year, because I realized that I couldn't really report on blockchain or the technology market accurate without understanding the Chinese and Asian blockchain markets. I learned Mandarin, and am comfortable holding higher level conversations. I think that these are the skills I can bring to the Block. one team.
