I have designed and co-authored a paper on multi-tenant scaleable blockchain platforms based on Layer 2 (plasma) scaling. The paper was shortlisted amongst the best papers at IEEE Conference on Software Architecture (ICSA) 2019 at Hamburg.

Prior to choosing Ethereum POA sidechains, I researched all the popular blockchain technologies available in 2018, to determine the best fit for the task. Blockchains were rated based on a number of factors including: security and privacy features, level of decentralization, roadmap and mainnet release, client features, smart contract support, consensus, developer ecosystem, tools and community etc.

I have also implemented the designed protocol in code (Node.js, Solidity, Parity)

I am a research engineer, and I believe I would add a lot of value to the role based on my strong research and engineering background.
