I’ve been working as a web and interface designer and developer for the past five years. For the past two years I’ve spent nearly all of my free time learning about digital currencies and participating in the vast only community around it. During that time, I’ve noticed a huge lack in usable interfaces and a poor user experience. Nothing would excite me more than the opportunity to combine both my passions and maybe even help drive adoption in this emerging industry.
Regarding the core responsibilities outlined in the job description, I have:
- Personally used at least 8 different cryptocurrency exchanges over the past 2 years, giving me first hand knowledge of what is working and what's not
- 5 years experience creating web interfaces, seeing them through each process of wireframing, mockups and final product
- Using user flows and justification to develop interfaces for both internal and external use
- Worked with a team of designers, developers, project managers, and the client to justify and finalize design decisions
- Organized interdepartmental collaboration in order to refine our processes and create new ones
