I've been working as a developer for several years. And because I mainly work alone or with a small team of developers, it's useful for me to learn to work in both front-end and backend. For the front-end, the industry is still evolving quite rapidly, and we are still trying to figure out the best practice for the UX design. So it's always a challenge. Front-end is also dealing directly with human psychology, which I find very interesting. In some cases, when designing a layout, you need to know the target audience, what are their ages, what are their occupations, or even the combination of colors can affect the user experience.
