I would like to apply for the Head of Research position. I am a reseacher in blockchain-related fields and theoretical physics. The last employment duties included development of scientific agenda for Research Institute (Moscow R&D lab, Russia, formerly known as Blockchain Institute), its maintenance and conducting research on the subject in tight interaction with developers and product teams. The scientific agenda can be provided upon request (the document reflects my views on current solvable problems of the blockchain field as for summer 2018).
I participated in Ergo blockchain project as a regular contributor. My latest works in the area included mechanisms of economic decentralization incentivising (see publications list), questions of computability in blockchains in UTXO model (see publications list), and development of non-outsourceable Proof-of-Work puzzle (Autolykos protocol is now the part of Ergo blockchain, the work is still unpublished, but the conferece talk is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rApDlDbXy84). Currently my research interests are drifting towards zero-knowledge proofs and secure multiparty computations.
I have solid background in mathematics, cryptology and theoretical physics (which was my main subject prior to 2018). I also have experience in giving conference talks, writing research papers, teaching, conducting theoretical research and interaction in the academic community.
