Dear KeeperDAO,

I am currently a front-end developer based in Taipei, Taiwan with nearly two years of experience at a boutique agency. As an voracious learner who never stops learning, I believe I am a good fit for the role of front-end developer at your company.

As my current firm is a smaller agency, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including several fairly prominent, large-scale applications. The project I am most proud of is a web-based internal management system for the National Theatre & Concert Hall (NTCH), which was built using React, GraphQL and ReduxForm. The NTCH is a large public venue and one of Taiwan’s key landmarks, so it was very exciting to work on such a high-profile government project.

In this project, I particularly liked doing data manipulation. The project is a legacy project that has been built over 2 years and has a very complicated API layer, which means we have to format the data for each component that share the same GraphQL data.

Another area I am passionate about is refactoring my components to make them more reusable. I find that when I do this, it helps me to understand my code better and helps me to make it more clean and succinct.

I strongly believe in constant self-improvement and continuing to learn new skills and knowledge. I learned web developing on my own when I was looking for a career change 2.5 years ago. I am mainly a front-end developer now, but I am also interested to learn SQL and other back-end skills in the future.
