My name is ----- -----, I am currently a Strategy Consultant at Deloitte Belgium focused on Health Economics and I co-lead the Blockchain Team within the company. I’m interested in the Community Support for Blockchain Communities position at Starfish because I have a passion for blockchain and would like to dedicate my career to finding innovative ways to use the technology. I believe my experience in international business (US and Europe), strategy and technology consulting experience, deep knowledge of the technology, and my technical skills in blockchain would be an asset for this position. As a co-lead for the Blockchain Team I designed and present all blockchain trainings within the firm for people in a range of positions, industries, and level of knowledge. I have helped grow the blockchain community within Deloitte Belgium starting from a couple of other consultants interested in blockchain with now over 150+ practitioners and a core team of 10+ representing all service lines to maximize client offerings. I also received funding from Deloitte to compete in Odyssey, the largest blockchain hackathon in the world, and led a team as captain to second place within our challenge. I have also done several speaking engagements throughout Belgium for students to C-level executives. All of these experiences I believe are applicable to this position as I have experience in creating stories that make it easy for anyone to follow and understand a technology as complicated as blockchain. I am also a native English speaker and have a lot of writing experience in technical subjects like life sciences and in blockchain, like in this report recently published by Deloitte (https://www2.deloitte.com/be/en/pages/tax/articles/covid-19_rebuilding-trust-with-blockchain-technology.html). I also enjoy moderating and taking part in discussions / panels about the subject. Thanks for considering my application.
