Dear Apollo team. After building up and shutting down a year ago a 2B USD volatility focused hedge fund I am looking for the next challenge. I have spent a good part of the past year developing several ventures amongst others getting to know, grow my connections and invest in the fascinating crypto space (which is very much all over the place here in crypto valley Zug). I bring a wide range of capabilities I believe would be of great value to your team. Firstly, I am an experienced volatility trader. I traded a wide range of strategies (with focus on equity and FX vol) generating high quality returns in a semi-systematic way. The opportunity in crypto derivatives market is expanding by the day as the instruments become more liquid and available. But the sophistication required to extract returns increases too as more participants enter the field. My career led me to much more than portfolio management. I spent 10 years supporting corporates develop their strategy and process as a management consultant. With Argentière Capital, I spent a lot of time building their processes and raising capital. These are all experiences that I believe might be helpful as you grow your business. I am a flexible and pragmatic mind that loves team work and loves dynamic, open minded multi-cultural environments.
