My interest in cryptocurrency as well as my understanding of the blockchain compounded when I temporarily relocated to Yangon, Myanmar.
Working, living, and spending time in the city allowed me insight into how, in particular, emerging markets develop despite infrastructural limitations. This knowledge proved especially useful in completing project deliverables at Red Dot (an agnostic cash acceptance network), where I was in large part, researching, planning, and implementing financially inclusive ventures in conjunction with various microfinance institutes and mobile network operators, across Myanmar.
My experiences here enabled an understanding of how growing businesses and entities may benefit by accessing technologies like blockchain, and currencies similar to Bitcoin. Largely, I understood the unique opportunity cryptocurrency provides to evolving operations across the globe, and the economic potential and privacy these alternate payment methods and services afford.
I am keen to learn more about the Customer Support Specialist role at CryptoTrader.Tax, and am excited to return to the fintech industry and contribute towards its evolution and development.
