Software engineer for over 10 years, most of it in Web (app) development, with a strong focus on user experience and front-ends. Acted as a core wallet (Qt) developer on a privacy coin project (CloakCoin) and later as a technical lead/advisor. Worked almost exclusively remote for the past 5 years, from small startups to large enterprise organizations (contract) so I am well aware of benefits and caveats/challenges it brings. As a senior engineer, I also handled training and onboarding for more junior devs and actively communicated with different stakeholder groups (POs, design, support, DevOps/SecOps, often requiring different language). Looking at position requirements, I tick almost every box, besides maybe Solidity; I'm actually wanting more exposure to newer mobile dev tech (like Flutter and Expo) and management skill can always be improved. I am applying because I believe TrustSwap has an immense potential to be a true gamechanger in the exchange arena, with advanced smart-contract-as-a-service, p2p swaps, wrappers and a DEX, facilitating any and every trading pair.
