For the past five years I have been doing web design/development and logo design in order to build a competitive portfolio and improve my skills when dealing with professional clients. As a developer with a strong focus on design I believe that I belong to a specialized group of individuals that can analyze an interface and implement that interface within a number of environments. This has led me to developing competitive development skills and has allowed me to become familiar with many technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Typescript, React, SCSS, Git, and many others. Aside from traditional web development I am able to use various frameworks like web3, ethers, etc. to communicate with Ethereum smart contracts on mainnet/kovan/etc. I’m currently running a Twitter bot (@CryptoGemsBot) that scrapes CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap and alerts its 2000+ followers of newly added coins. I also recently participated in a hackathon sponsored by ETH Global where I built an application that allows content creators to earn passive income from their supporters in a decentralized way using Uniswap and Aave lending pools (https://lump.finance). This is to say that I am very committed to advancing the Ethereum ecosystem and cryptocurrency space as a whole.
As of right now I am working as an Application Developer where I am tasked with building applications using Microsoft’s Power Platform. While I have learned a lot and it has been a great experience thus far, most of my free time outside of work is spent learning more about cryptocurrencies and blockchain-centric technology. Working with Metamask would allow me to fully immerse myself in this field and would set a great standard for the quality of work that I will produce for the rest of my professional career. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.
