I am a holder since 2015 and a 2020 university graduate who is PASSIONATE about crypto. Bitcoin initially attracted me from an investment standpoint, but like many others, months became years delving ever deeper into the so-called rabbit hole. Thousands of hours spent reading Medium posts, Twitter threads, Whitepapers, Telegram and Discord have culminated in a genuine belief in building a fundamentally more efficient, equitable, and exciting financial system. I am inspired by the people in the industry like Jameson Lopp who prioritize this ethos above profit, and I was a regular at his Raleigh BTC meetup throughout 2016-17.
Besides my Community Management roles for a few projects over the years and contributing to the Messari open-source library, my limited technical background has kept me from committing to finding a full-time job within the industry. Upon graduating in the midst of the pandemic, I see the decentralization of finance accelerating at a rapid rate and find it hard to imagine going into a traditional finance career.
As a Community Manager for Bybit, I bring to the table all of the necessary context to make sense of the evolving landscape. As the exchange space rushes to meet the developing needs of crypto users, I will spend ample time keeping up with the avalanche of noise and parsing for the most valuable signal. This will help me better serve and grow the Bybit community through engagement and education. My years of experience as a crypto user and evangelist give me the tools to understand and communicate with the community, and I would love the opportunity to do so as a Community Manager at Bybit!
