As a product designer (UI/UX) with 5+ years of experience, I'm writing to express my interest in the senior/lead UIUX designer role at 4K. My experience aligns well as I have previously worked for multiple cryptocurrency companies such as Canya (RUNE), Syscoin, Blockstack and Dmail, in which I worked closely with the founders to turn conceptual ideas into user-friendly product through design. I also occasionally work on crypto-related side projects such as https://trymumble.com (decentralised social - featured in decrypt) for Blockstack and thenewboston. My previous role was also a product design at a gamification company (Selfdrvn) and a lead product designer at a YC funded startup serving more than 2.5 million customers and leading a design team. I know that I would be a great addition to your team at 4K since I started my career in the crypto space in 2016 and have a strong belief that this space will continue to grow.
After working for more than 5 years in UIUX product design, I have strong knowledge of bringing conceptual ideas into the end product, take ownership in the entire product lifecycle and design system creation (including working with developers and run retrospective to improve processes), run pre and post product analysis through analytic, managing a design team, a great team player and a collaborator, and process-orientated to ensure things are done right.
I'm also a Figma Community Advocate in my country hosting product design-related events and mentoring junior designers.
