I am a qualified mechanical engineer (Stellenbosch University) that has been working on coding projects since 2016. I love the challenge of solving problems with code and have learned to code for fun since 2016, not because I wanted a job.
In 2017 I began pushing code to github, with an Angular app that would have interfaced with a top 15 (by market cap) crypto project of the time. In late 2020, I started learning solidity and created my first dapp in Feb 2021. Since then, I have deployed multiple projects to Rinkeby, most from my own ideas, go to my website for details.
I am self-taught in the languages I use as well as design patterns, OOP and some data structures. My coding journey has turned me into a self-starter, working in Machine Design means I can work in a team and I am eager to join and grow with a cypto dev team.
Within Web3 my interest generally lies in DeFi and I have delved into the Security and Gas Optimization aspects of smart contracts. If you feel that I could be a good fit, please do get in touch.
