During my undergraduate engineering program, I studied Chemical Engineering, spending five co-op semesters working at a synthetic diamond manufacturer. This gave me valuable professional work experience while I worked towards earning my academic degree. My interest in the engineering field began slowly transitioning to an interest in finance and data science. I completed my education in engineering, however I did not begin work immediately in this field knowing that I wanted more. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, I elected to continue my education and began working towards a master’s in business administration. It was during this time that I developed a passion for financial autonomy and a breakaway from traditional financial systems. This has led me to a incredible journey of self-learning and networking, now being an experienced cryptocurrency native using DeFi Applications, creating and assisting NFT projects, attending online conventions, and avidly following discourse about blockchain and token-economic theory.
