I am an undergraduate student in Applied Mathematics and during my studies, I have used that multidisciplinarity to apply mathematical concepts in data analytics, specifically marketing during my role as Social Media Manager for a podcast and blog in Portugal. Furthermore, I have advanced my research skills during my Bachelor's degree project in Brownian Motion and solving the Langevin equation, which is used in option pricing in finance and physics. I have profiency in several programming languages such as MATLAB, Mathematica, SQL, Python, as well as data visualization software like Tableau.
For the past two years I became interested in learning about blockchain technology and more broadly DLT for individual use, focusing mainly on transaction speed and low fees paired with the decentralization blockchain solutions provide. At the moment I am getting to know more enterprise-oriented DLTs like Hedera Hashgraph that seem to have a lot of potential in building web3 applications, amongst other use cases.
Finally, Iām slightly obsessed with cryptocurrency and the communities surrounding it. I participate in the r/Cryptocurrency reddit for fun, providing useful content like discussion posts and tax information for users there. My friends make fun of me, because even if I am not at work, I am still doing work helping other people become more aware of their positions in the crypto space.
