Hi!

My name is ----- ----- and I am applying for the position of Community Manager! I am a product manager with 9 years of experience building online learning and digital health tools and I am a Jr MERN stack developer with extensive experience using SQL, Jira, and Agile methodologies. I am applying to the position of Community Manager because I am spending the next 14 months studying to become a Solidity developer and I want to work for an NFT/blockchain related company while I do so. I have no ego about this transition and, truthfully, I'm excited to move from health tech into NFTs even if that means starting in a position very different from product management.

Thank you in advance for your consideration. Below is a brief summary of my work history. If you’d like to speak with any of my references, please let me know and I’ll happily oblige!

In my last role at a software outsourcing firm, I led a team of designers and engineers to rapidly research, design, and develop new technology products for external clients. I also performed the duties of Product Owner and drove two-week sprints utilizing the SCRUM-ban agile methodology. In my previous work experiences I facilitated the same activities in the same role. In 2013, I started a company at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where I managed a team of engineers and clinicians to build a suite of tablet-based home healthcare forms, a Google Glass based clinical documentation tool, and a mobile app that uses the camera on an Android device to visualize blood-flow to any area of tissue. In 2011, I started a web-based English language tutoring company which, by 2015, serviced 1.6M users via four smartphone applications and four web-based tutoring services.
